In some states across India, banks will remain closed on Friday, June 27, 2025, on account of Rath Yatra, a significant Hindu festival. This will be followed by the fourth Saturday (June 28) and Sunday (June 29), which are standard non-working days for most banks across the country.
As a result, most banking activities will come to a standstill for three days in a row in these impacted states, which could cause delays in loan disbursements, cheque clearances, and other branch-based services. It is recommended to use digital banking services at this time and organize your banking activity ahead of time.
