Chelsea could be given a late boost to their hopes of remaining compliant with the Premier League's spending rules. Monday, June 30, marks the end of the 2024/25 accounting period for 15 of next season's English top-flight clubs, including the Blues.
Arsenal, Liverpool and West Ham had their big day May 31 - while Burnley and Sunderland won't have to submit their account until July 31. Wolves recently moved their deadline forward from May 31 to June 30, so their bracket spans 13 months.
Under Profit and Sustainability rules (PSRs), Premier League clubs are not permitted to record more than £105m in losses over a three-year period; a figure that's reduced by £22m for every season the team isn't in the division.

In January, Chelsea, as well as every other English top-flight club, were declared compliant for the 2023/24 season, avoiding punishment of any sort, such as a potential point deduction or fine. The west Londoners have established some breathing space ahead of the upcoming 'investigation'.
football.london understands that Chelsea will remain compliant with PSR even if they were to post losses of just under £300m for the 2024/25 accounting period. The Blues are expected to pass with flying colours, but the sale of Joao Felix would given them an extra boost.
According to BBC Sport, the 25-year-old forward, who just spent the season on loan at AC Milan, has attracted interest from the Middle East. The report argues clubs in Saudi Arabia are monitoring his availability at Stamford Bridge.
Felix, whose contract expires in June 2031, featured 20 times for Chelsea across all competitions this term, scoring seven goals and providing two assists. While the Portugal international regularly featured, he only averaged about 47 minutes an appearance.
So, in an effort to play more first-team football, Felix joined Milan on loan in January. He made a great impression on his debut, scoring in a 3-1 win over Roma in the quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia.
Unfortunately for Felix, he didn't find the net again for the Rossoneri until May. While the Portugal forward scored in each of his last two matches of the Serie A campaign, Milan ultimately failed to qualify for each of UEFA's three club competitions.
Ultimately, Felix, who joined Chelsea from Spanish giants Atletico Madrid for £45m - in August 2024 - didn't quite live up to expectations in Italy. The Blues winger has since lost his squad number to Dario Essugo - and he faces an uncertain future.
After a promising start to life at Milan, Felix shared an update on his future back. Speaking to reporters in February, as quoted by Goal, he said: "For now, I'm on loan until June, we'll see how it goes.
"I'm liking everything; the club, the people, the infrastructure. My family and I have received a great welcome and I want to be in a place where I feel good. Things can change in football, but if there's the chance to stay here, I'd like that."
