Shefali Jariwala once revealed about her unseen battle with epilepsy for 15 years: ‘Seizures happen due to…’

The sudden and untimely death of Kaanta Laga actress Shefali Jariwala has left the entire entertainment world and her fans shocked. According to reports Shefali Jariwala passed away at 42 due to cardiac arrest. Her husband Paras Tyagi along with others rushed her to Believue Multispecialty Hospital; however reportedly she was brought dead. Later her body was shifted to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem. Although no official statement has been issued by her friend or family yet the news was allegedly confirmed by the hospitals reception staff. This shocking news has left the audience stunned and they are mourning the loss of this talented actress who passed away too soon.
After her untimely demise a throwback interview of her talking about her battling with a health condition has been doing the rounds. Previously Shefali opened up in an interview and revealed that about her a silent struggle with a health condition that compelled her to take a backseat in her career. “After I did Kaanta Laga people asked me why I didn’t do more work. I can now say that it was because of the epilepsy seizures that I couldn’t take up much work. I didn’t know when I would get my next seizure… this went on for 15 years.”
What is epilepsy
Epilepsy is a neurological disorder in which an individual experiences sudden and repeated seizures. This health issue can cause brief episodes of involuntary movement. These seizures are often triggered by stress fatigue or even emotional disturbances.
Shefalis struggle with epilepsy
Speaking about the time she first experienced a seizure she said “I had an epilepsy seizure at the age of 15. I remember at that time I was under tremendous pressure to do well in my studies. Stress and anxiety can lead to seizures. It’s interrelated; you could get a seizure due to depression and vice versa.”
Shefali also revealed that this health condition impacted her self-esteem
“I have got seizures in classrooms backstage while on the road and somewhere that lowered my self-esteem.”
This health condition impacted Shefali for 15 years. However despite that the Kaanta Laga actress managed to power through this struggle and made a great contribution to the world of entertainment. “I am proud of myself because I managed my depression panic attacks and anxiety naturally and with the help of a strong support system she had said.
Shefalis sudden death has left a void in the hearts of her fans that nobody can fill. She will forever be cherished for her strong presence her grace and her charm.
