Fiorentina look ahead to life under new head coach Stefano Pioli as they target a move for Bournemouth midfielder Hamed Traore, after already nearing the completion of several high-profile transfers this summer.
According to what has been reported by Italian newspaper the Corriere dello Sport, via TMW, Traore is the latest on a long list of players that La Viola are evaluating.
Bournemouth are keen to sell the player, the reports claim, and would be willing to accept an offer in the region of €10-15 million.
This isn’t the first time that Fiorentina have been linked with a move for Hamed Traore. Back in 2019, when the player was at Empoli, he was just a step away from moving to Florence. However, he failed his medical and would later go on loan to Sassuolo before completing a permanent move to the Neroverdi two years later.
His time at Bournemouth has not been ideal for the Ivorian. In his first year at the English club, he was diagnosed with malaria and was loaned out to Napoli the following January. A disappointing 6 months with the Neapolitan side was followed by a much better season on loan with Auxerre in 2024-25.
For Auxerre in Ligue 1, Traore scored ten goals in 24 appearances.
