Bihar Combined Competitive Exam 2025: There is great news for the candidates preparing for the 71st Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination 2025 to be conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). The commission has added 34 more new posts so now a total of 1298 posts will be appointed under this recruitment.

BPSC has shared information about this by tweeting on X (former Twitter). Earlier recently the commission had added 14 posts and now after the new notifications, this number has increased further. BPSC wrote on X, "After the advertisement issued on 30.05.2025 for the Integrated 71st Combined Competitive Examination, requisitions of 34 new vacancies have been received from various departments, which have now been included in this examination. Now the total vacancies have become 1298."

BPSC 71st Preliminary Exam Date Changed
Bihar Public Service Commission has changed the date of the 71st Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination - Preliminary. As per the earlier released schedule, this exam was scheduled to be held on 30 August 2025. Now as per the notice, this exam will be conducted on 10 September.
BPSC 71th CCE 2025: Register by 30 June
The registration process for the Integrated 71st Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination is currently on. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website (bpsconline.bihar.gov.in). The last date to apply is 30 June 2025. Candidates can also pay the examination fee to this day. According to the notification issued by the Commission, the Preliminary Examination (Pre) will be held on 30 August 2025.
Who can apply?
It is mandatory for the candidates applying to have a graduation degree from any recognized university in India as an educational qualification. Talking about the age limit, the minimum age of the candidate should be 20 years and the maximum age should be 37 years, however, female candidates and reserved categories (such as SC, ST, OBC) will be given relaxation in maximum age as per government rules.
This much will be the application fee.
During the application, general, OBC and other state candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 600, while SC, ST, Divyang (PH) and female candidates residing in Bihar will have to pay a fee of Rs 150. Candidates can deposit this fee through online medium (debit card, credit card, net banking) or offline challan mode.
How to apply
First of all, candidates go to bpsc.bihar.gov.in.
Go to the "Apply Online" section on the homepage click on the "BPSC 71st CCE 2025" link and register a new registration with your basic details.
Login to the portal using the username and password received after registration.
After login, open the application form and fill in your personal, educational, and other related information carefully.
Upload scanned passport-size photo, signature, and required certificates.
Pay the application fee online as per category.
Finally, submit the application form and keep a printout of it for future.
