The much-anticipated conclusion of Squid Game has arrived, leaving fans both devastated and intrigued. The third season wrapped up with an emotional finale that has sparked discussions about potential future storylines. The previous season's cliffhanger had left viewers in suspense, raising numerous questions about the fate of the characters.
Did Gi-Hun, known as Player No. 456, manage to end the deadly Squid Game? What about The Front Man's brother, Hwang In-Ho? These questions linger as fans seek clarity on the series' conclusion.
In the climactic final episode, only Myung-gi (Player No. 333) and Gi-Hun (Player No. 456) remain alive, alongside the infant daughter of Player No. 222. Myung-gi demands that Gi-Hun hand over the baby, revealing his willingness to sacrifice the child for the cash prize. This shocking revelation leads to a fierce confrontation, with Gi-Hun determined to protect the baby.
During their struggle, Myung-gi meets his demise, while Gi-Hun makes the ultimate sacrifice to ensure the baby's victory.
As the coast guard approaches, The Front Man activates the island's self-destruct mechanism and escapes with the infant.
Meanwhile, Player No. 246, Park Gyeong-seok, is rescued by Hwang Jun-ho, and his daughter recovers after six months. He encounters Kang No-eul, the guard who previously saved him, but fails to recognize her. Kang No-eul travels to China, hoping to reunite with her daughter, who may still be alive.
Six months post-game, The Front Man travels to the US to deliver Gi-Hun's belongings and financial support to his daughter. On his way back, he witnesses an American recruiter playing ddakji, suggesting that similar games are being conducted globally.
