Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) a part of Mukesh Ambanis Reliance Group is planning to build a large beverage factory worth Rs. 1622 crore in Orvakallu Mega Industrial Hub located in Andhra Pradeshs Kurnool district. The company aims to start full-scale production by December 2025. This new plant will make cold drinks fruit juices bottled water and other beverages. For this project the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) has given 80 acres of land each priced at Rs. 30 lakh per acre. As per the official update: Land acquisition will be finished by June 30 2025 Land registration will be done by July 20 2025 Construction and machinery setup will be completed next year Commercial production is expected to begin in December 2026 This plant will help boost the local economy by creating jobs and increasing industrial growth in the region. How Reliance beverage plant in Kurnool will create 1200 jobs? Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that the state government has officially allotted land in Orvakal Kurnool to Reliance Consumer Products Ltd for setting up its ₹1622 crore mega beverage plant. He said “As part of our commitment to develop Rayalaseema land has been given to Reliance for a major beverages unit. Thanks to CM Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership the plant will produce carbonated drinks juices and bottled water—creating 1200 direct jobs for local people. Rayalaseema’s industrial growth is now becoming a reality.” Why Reliance chose Kurnool over other states? State Industries Minister TG Bharat added that Andhra Pradesh outperformed other states to win this major investment. “Reliance saw the potential in Kurnool and decided to build the factory here” he said praising the region’s growing importance in the state’s industrial future.
