New Delhi: Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has returned to football following the end of his doping ban. The France midfielder has signed for Ligue 1 club AS Monaco on a two-year deal as a free agent. The World Cup winner will be linking up with his ex-Manchester United teammate Anthony Martial at Monaco.
Pogba, who was an integral member of France’s 2018 World Cup-winning team, was banned for four years for doping in September 2023. However, his initial four-year ban was reduced to 18 months in November last year. His suspension ended earlier this year, making him eligible to return to the top level once again.
