If you use HDFC Bank’s credit card, you may face additional fees from July. The bank has decided to impose a fee of 1% for adding more than Rs 10,000 on digital wallets (eg Paytm, Mobikwik, Ola Money). In addition, payment of utility bills may also be charged additional charge.
From July 1, ICICI Bank has announced a charge on cash withdrawal from ATMs. After the end of five free transactions in metro cities, every transaction will be charged a fee of Rs 23. This limit will be of three transactions in non-metro cities. Apart from this, new charges will also be applicable on IMPS transfer, which will depend on transfer ranging from Rs 1000 to Rs 5 lakh.
Indian Railways has also changed the rules to travel from July 1. The fares of non-AC mail and express trains will be increased by 1 paise per kilometer, while this increase in AC class will be 2 paise per kilometer. There will be no change in second class and MST for travel up to 500 kilometers, but an additional fee will have to be paid on a journey of more than 500 kilometers.
