(Panipat News) Panipat. Daljit Kumar, popularly known as Greenman, has worked for environmental protection for the past several years, Deshbandhu Gupta Government College. From January 11, 2025, he has launched a campaign to plant the national tree banyan. Under this campaign, Banyan plant was planted in the Civil Hospital on Sunday with the help of a public service party.
Professor Daljit Kumar said that the banyan tree becomes a great source of oxygen by surviving for many years. It is not only a life -giving tree, but is also a shadow and also beneficial in diabetes and skin diseases. Public service party secretary Chiman Lal Gulati said that his party has been engaged in selfless service for the last 46 years. Plantation is an important part of nature service. On this occasion, Greenman presented 51 saplings to the public service party.
Krishnalal Manchanda, president of the Janseva Party, appealed to everyone to plant more and more saplings in this monsoon and take care of them. The program was also attended by Dr. Muniram Tanwar, Kamal Gulati, Shamlal, Raju Kathuria, Balwant and little girl Darshika.
