Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended the last date for admission in class 11 for the academic session 2025-27. Now students can take admission till July 3. Students shortlisted in the first merit list released on June 4 can now complete the admission process in their allotted schools by July 3. Initially, the admission window was from June 4 to June 10 and was later extended to June 28.
According to the notice issued by the board, students who fail to confirm admission within the stipulated time limit. Their admission will be considered canceled. This seat will be declared vacant and removed from the OFSS portal. Students will have to complete the admission process by visiting the official website ofssbihar.net.
Admission will not be given without verification.
Students should keep in mind that admission will be confirmed only after depositing the required admission fee and document verification in the concerned institute. Additionally, students who have not been allotted any school or college in the first merit list can fill a new option form during this period, which can be considered for the subsequent round of seat allocation.
The principals of recognized intermediate institutions have been asked by the BSEB to update the details of the students on the OFSS portal by July 4. They have to update the admission data daily on the OFSS website from June 30 to July 4, giving the details of the previous day's admission. This time a total of 4,70,845 students have passed the Bihar Board Matriculation Examination in the first division, including 2,53,754 boys and 2,17,091 girls. In the second division, 4,84,012 students passed, of which 2,29,958 were boys and 2,54,054 were girls. A total of 123 students were included in the top 10 list. There were 25 students between rank 1 and 5 and a total of 98 students between rank 6 and 10.
