Team India’s spinner Varun Chakravarthy recently picked his playing XI, naming only those cricketers who have played with him. Varun, who has been exceptional in T20 cricket, selected some of the big names in a conversation with Ravichandran Ashwin. However, only three Indian players made it to his team, with the likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma getting snubbed.

South Africa and Sunrisers Hyderabad player Heinrich Klaasen came in as a wicket-keeper batter.
Chakravarthy picked three all-rounders in the squad. Hardik Pandya, Andre Russell, and Sunil Narine made the cut. Rashid Khan took up the job of the specialist spinner. In the fast bowling department, Varun went with Jasprit Bumrah and Matheesha Pathirana.
