WhatsApp has finally launched the Document Scanning feature for Android users, which has been waiting for a long time. This feature has started on the Android platform. Initially, this facility was released only for beta testers.
Now users will not need any third-party app, as the camera of WhatsApp will now scan the document directly and will allow it to change it by changing it into a PDF format. This will make the process faster, convenient and limited on the same platform.
When you click on the attachment icon in the WhatsApp chat window, you will now see a new option “Scan Document” with “Browse Documents” and “Choose from Gallery”. On clicking on it, the camera of the phone will open, and the document can be shared immediately by scanning.
This feature was first seen in WhatsApp Beta for Android V2.25.18.29, but it was not active then. Now, gradually, its rollout for beta users has started, and many users have confirmed it has started to work.
Apart from this, WhatsApp has recently launched an AI-based chat Samari feature, which makes a bullet point summary of any chat, telling the user the main thing of the conversation-without opening the full chat.
