Karan Veer Mehra pens an emotional note for his mom's 70th birthday; calls her his 'first and only true love'
Actor Karan Veer Mehra poured his heart out in a moving post for his mother on her 70th birthday , calling her his “first and only true love.” The actor, known for his sincerity and grounded persona, shared a heartwarming post that revealed a cherished family anecdote, one that shows just how special his mother has always been to their family.
“Aaj meri darling ka burday hai,” Karan began in his caption, going on to share how his grandfather, a magistrate, wanted to celebrate his youngest daughter’s birthday with grandeur. “He told her she was born on 1st July, not 30th June… just so he could celebrate it with flair,” Karan wrote with affection. “Lekin ab hum amir ho gaye hain, so we celebrate both days.”
While this milestone birthday called for a grand celebration, Karan shared that he couldn’t be by her side and for a beautiful reason. He starts shooting for his new film on the very same day. “It’s her 70th birthday and also my 1st day on my film set which starts shooting tomorrow… but I promise to make it up to you mommy love.”
Karan is very close to his mother and often talked about her during his Bigg Boss 18 journey. He even got emotional towards the end of the show when he got a letter from his mother. Reading his mother's letter Karan broke down into tears in front of Art Director and filmmaker Omung Kumar .
Marking this new beginning in his professional life, Karan’s message was not just a birthday wish it was a heartfelt ode to the woman who has been his biggest strength.
Karan is gearing up for his Bollywood comeback Silaa which also stars Harshvardhan Rane, Sadia Khateeb. He will be seen playing an antogonist in the romantic film, directed by Omung Kumar. It will go on floors from July 1.
