The wait is nearly over for fans eagerly anticipating Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious cinematic adaptation of Ramayana. One of the most awaited films in recent years, this mythological epic stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Raavan. The excitement is set to build further as the first official logo of the film will be unveiled on July 3, 2025, marking the beginning of its promotional campaign.

Teaser Ready, But Not Releasing Yet

Although the film’s teaser—approximately three minutes long—is reportedly ready, the makers have chosen not to release it anytime soon. With the movie slated for release in Diwali 2026, followed by Part 2 in Diwali 2027, the team plans to build anticipation steadily over the next year and a half. The logo reveal will act as a formal announcement, confirming the film’s direction and production progress.

A Star-Studded Cast Brings the Epic to Life

Apart from the lead trio, Ramayana boasts a stellar ensemble. Sunny Deol will portray Hanuman, Ravi Dubey as Laxman, Lara Dutta takes on Kaikeyi, Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanakha, and Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari. Each actor has reportedly undergone intense preparation to do justice to their iconic roles, aiming for authenticity and emotional depth.

While the storyline is under wraps, reports suggest that Part 1 will conclude with the dramatic ‘Sita Haran’ episode, though this remains unofficial. The two-part structure aims to fully explore the emotional and spiritual depth of the Ramayana, promising a faithful and cinematic retelling of the sacred epic.
