Whether it’s long drives to the hills, dancing on terraces, sipping on hot chai by the window, or simply soaking in the view from a rain-kissed balcony, here's what she has to say about how she enjoys the rainy season.

Priya Thakur, who essays the role of Vasudha in Vasudha said, “There’s a childlike joy the rains bring out in me. Back home, it was all about folding paper boats and competing to see whose boat floated longest in the waterlogged lanes! I can still hear my mom’s voice from the kitchen — ‘Priya, you’ll catch a cold!’ — but of course, I’d be out dancing in the rain. (laughs) Now in my second monsoon in Mumbai, I’ve realised there’s something cinematic about it. The chaos, the calm, the romance — it all blends together so beautifully. I’ve fallen in love with the city a little more each time it rains."

She further added, "I try not to step out when it’s pouring, but I adore watching the city from my balcony — the glistening roads, the shared umbrellas, the scent of wet mitti. Just the other day, I cooked my mom’s special moong dal pakoras while it poured outside — it instantly transported me back home. Monsoon always stirs something in me — it’s like nature’s way of making you pause and feel.”
