Apply 12th
It is mandatory for the candidates applying for this recruitment to pass intermediate (12th) examination in any stream from a recognized board. Along with this, candidates should have knowledge of computer operation and experience of Hindi and English typing.
The minimum age of the candidate is 18 years and maximum age is 37 years. However, according to the rules of the Government of Bihar, reserved classes like SC, ST, OBC, women and disabled candidates will be given exemption in the maximum age limit as per rules.
Know how much will be the application fee
The application fee for this recruitment is different according to the category. The fee for general, OBC and EWS class candidates has been fixed at Rs 600, while SC, ST and women candidates of Bihar will have to pay only Rs 150.
At the same time, the fee for Divyang (PH) category candidates is also Rs 150. Candidates can pay the application fee through online, which contain options like debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS, cash card or mobile wallet.
Selection process
The selection process in this recruitment depends on the application number. If less than 40,000 applications are received, the main examination will be taken directly. But if more than 40,000 applications are made, there will be examination in two phases - preliminary and main examination. Both examinations will be objective and multiple choice.
Preliminary examination pattern
The preliminary examination will have the same question paper in which a total of 150 questions will be asked. It will remain divided into three parts: (a) General Studies - 50 Questions, (B) General Science and Mathematics - 50 Questions, (C) Mental Ability Check - 50 Questions. This exam will be done only for screening, on the basis of which the candidates will be selected for the main examination.
Salary: Pay Scale
The candidates selected on the post of BPSC LDC will be provided with pay scale under Level-2 as per the Seventh Pay Commission, which will be between Rs 19,900 to Rs 63,200 per month. Apart from this, various allowances (such as dearness allowance, travel allowance etc.) will also be provided as per rules.
