Bengaluru. Priyank Kharge, minister in Karnataka government and son of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, has said that if Congress comes to power at the centre, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will be banned. Priyank Kharge has tried to corner RSS by asking several questions. Priyank Kharge raised the question that who is spreading hatred in the country, who is responsible for communal violence, who is talking about changing the constitution. Priyank Kharge said that why RSS does not ask its political branch BJP questions like increasing unemployment, how did the terrorist attack happen in Pahalgam. He said that instead of this, RSS people are spreading hatred in the society. BJP has also reacted to Priyank Kharge’s statement about banning RSS.
Before this, Priyank Kharge also asked whether all agencies like ED and Income Tax are there to investigate the opposition. He said why the central government does not investigate from where the RSS is getting money, what is their source of income. Congress leader Priyank Kharge said how the RSS people escape every time by giving hate speeches and talking about changing the constitution. He also asked how the RSS people escape after committing economic crimes. Priyank Kharge said that all these matters should be investigated. Listen to what else Priyank Kharge said.
This is not the first time that Priyank Kharge has said such a thing. In 2023, he had said that if any organization tries to spoil the communal atmosphere and disturb the peace in Karnataka, the government will not hesitate to ban it. This time, after BJP MP Tejaswi Surya raised questions about the Congress high command, Priyank Kharge retorted and asked who is the high command of BJP. He wrote on Instagram that most of the BJP workers will not be able to tell the name of the national president. Priyank Kharge further wrote that when the situation is difficult, the PM goes to Nagpur to report to the RSS instead of Parliament. He also challenged Tejaswi Surya to raise his voice and say that RSS is not needed to win the elections. Modiji and JP Nadda are the high command.
