The Meteorological Department has issued an alert due to heavy rains in many parts of North-West, Central, East, and Northeast India over the next 7 days.

According to the IMD, an alert has been issued for heavy rains over the next few days in many parts of East and Central India, as well as North-West India.
Warning of heavy rain in these states

Apart from this, heavy rains are going to occur in Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, and Odisha between July 1 and 5. At the same time, heavy rains were observed in Madhya Pradesh between July 2 and July 7. Additionally, an alert has been issued for hefty rainfall in Odisha between July 1 and 3.

According to the IMD, heavy rains are expected in Jharkhand, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim, as well as in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, from July 1 to 6.
