The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rain today in four districts including the capital Dehradun.

The effect of torrential rains in Uttarakhand for the last three days is likely to reduce today (Wednesday). However, according to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, a yellow alert of heavy to very heavy rain has been issued in some parts of Tehri, Nainital and Bageshwar districts including Dehradun.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain with lightning and thunder in other hilly districts. Talking about the coming days, the weather is likely to change across the state till July 7.
