Weather Update- Heavy rain in many districts of Rajasthan, roads submerged, water filled in houses, cloud burst at 11 places in Himachal

Friends, monsoon has tightened its grip in the country, causing widespread destruction, road closures and loss of life and property. Many areas, especially in North India, are witnessing extreme weather conditions with continuous heavy rainfall, cloud burst and landslides, due to which there is panic among the general public, let's know the weather condition in the country-

Rajasthan

Alwar: The city received heavy rains on Monday, resulting in waterlogging up to two feet on the roads, causing heavy disruption in traffic and daily life.

Uttar Pradesh

Prayagraj: The water level of the Ganga and Yamuna rivers has risen dangerously, creating flood-like conditions.

Himachal Pradesh

Mandi: In the last 24 hours, 11 incidents of cloud burst have been reported in the region. The devastating impact includes:

5 deaths due to floods and landslides

16 people are still missing

A bridge collapsed following a cloudburst in Karsog, affecting local connectivity

Several vehicles were buried under debris due to landslides, though there were no casualties in that particular incident

Uttarakhand

Several landslides have caused considerable travel disruption:

The Pauri-Meerut national highway was closed near Satpuli on the Kotdwar-Badrinath route

The Yamunotri highway in Uttarkashi has also been closed due to landslides

A massive landslide at Gumkhal on the Pauri-Kotdwar national highway has closed the highway for 24 hours

Another landslide near Gochar Bandhkhand hit the Badrinath highway, closing the route to Gangotri
