The popular courtroom drama which is directed by Rohan Sippy and produced by Harman Wadala and Rahul Ved Prakash went on air in May this year. To note, Criminal Justice has been Indian version of the 2008 British series of the same name. And as the show came with the fourth season lately, it has left everyone brimming with an opinion as Pankaj Tripathi returned as lawyer Madhav Mishra defending another intriguing murder case.
Apart from Pankaj Tripathi, Criminal Justice season 4 had Khushboo Atre, Mita Vashist, Aatm Prakash Mishra, Shweta Basu Prasad and Rajesh Khera reprising their respective roles again. On the other hand, Criminal Justice: A Family Matter saw new addition to the cast as Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Surveen Chawla, and Asha Negi brought a new twist in the plot in the new season. The story revolved around the murder of nurse Roshni Saluja (portrayed by Asha Negi) whose prima facie accused turned out to be Dr. Raj Nagpal (played by Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. But as the investigation progresses, his wife, Anju Nagpal (Surveen Chawla), also becomes a key suspect. The surprising turn added layers to the mystery, captivating viewers with its suspenseful twists which left everyone brimming with an opinion till the end.
Criminal Justice Season 4 Episode 8 X Review
As the makers have unveiled the finale episode of Criminal Justice Season 4, the social media is brimming with an opinion. Taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter, a user wrote, "What an unexpected ending of #CriminalJusticeSeason4! The series lived to the standards it set. Interestingly, while the audience has been lauding Madhav Mishra for his stint in the courtroom drama, they have declared Anju Nagpal as the real hero of the show. A user wrote, "Anju Nagpal is the real Hero of #CriminalJusticeSeason4. She showed what a mother can do for the future of her Kids. Finally, Madhav Mishra won the case but lost against a mother". Meanwhile, in an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, Asha Negi, who plays the role of Roshni Saluja, spoke about giving a nod to Criminal Justice season 4 and stated, "There were a lot of reasons...firstly it's such a huge franchise, of course it has such phenomenal actors, then I think the character i'm playing, Roshni, that character i felt was quiet challenging. It was layered and it was not an easy one to play, which was why I had a lot of fun".
