Mumbai: The 40-year-old former teacher of Bombay Scottish High School, Mahim, Bipasha Kumar, who was arrested for sexually assaulting a male student on Saturday, has confessed to the police that she is still in love with the boy. She also admitted to attempting to re-establish contact with the boy through her maid. About The CaseThis confession comes amidst revelations of alleged sexual encounters in multiple hotels and a pattern of grooming through gifts and expensive meals. The police investigation has confirmed that the teacher first engaged in sexual activity with the boy in her car in Dadar, which the police have since seized. Later, she took the boy to three different hotels – JW Marriott in Juhu, President Hotel, and The Lalit Hotel – in Vile Parle, where the abuse continued. Police further uncovered that the accused teacher regularly bought clothes and gifts for the boy and often treated him to meals at upscale restaurants, suggesting a pattern of grooming. The relationship reportedly ended in February due to the boy’s 12th-grade exams, as he began avoiding the teacher and blocked her on his mobile phone. After four months of separation, the teacher sent her maid to the boy’s home, leading to the shocking revelation of the abuse. “The police have also revealed that the co-accused, a female doctor who is a friend of the teacher and has since moved to the UK last Diwali, had given the victim a medicine, Daxid 50mg, to help alleviate his stress. Earlier, the accused female teacher was produced in the Sessions Court, where she has been remanded to one-day police custody.
