The land was registered in January 2021

In January 2021, Akhilesh Yadav had registered 38 biswa 16 link land in the name of the party in the Anwarganj area near Azamgarh-Lucknow National Highway (NH-233). After this, some more land was purchased, causing a total land to reach 68 biswa. This land was completely strategically elected to establish a strong presence of the party near the city. After the purchase of land, there was a continuous construction work, which was monitored by MP Dharmendra Yadav and senior party leaders.

68 Biswa land on land and office, equipped with facilities

This building built in 68 Biswa region will be the main center of the new political activities of SP. According to district media in-charge Vivek Singh, separate arrangements have been made to meet visitors on the ground floor of the building, office of private secretary, separate rooms for security staff, and communication with common people. On the first floor, special rooms have been made for Akhilesh Yadav's private residence, meeting and rest. Apart from this, Akhilesh Yadav will also lay the foundation stone of a grand auditorium with a capacity of 2000 people, where party meetings, programs and training sessions will be held in future.

Purvanchal's direction will be decided from Azamgarh

According to SP leaders, this housing is not just a private residence but a political center, from where the politics of Purvanchal will be given a new direction. Mulayam Singh Yadav always described Azamgarh as his 'beating', and now Akhilesh Yadav also considers it his second home. From this new political center, Akhilesh Yadav will not only decide the party's strategy, but will also work directly with the workers to strengthen the organization at the ground level. This office will be the command center of SP in Purvanchal for the upcoming elections.

Azamgarh is the invincible stronghold of SP

Azamgarh has always been very special for SP. In the 2012 assembly elections, SP won all 10 seats in the district. In 2017, 9 seats in 2017 and all 10 seats again in 2022 proved that the party's hold in the district is still strong. It has also been a traditional seat in the Lok Sabha elections where Mulayam Singh Yadav (2014), Akhilesh Yadav (2019) and Dharmendra Yadav (2024) were elected MPs. This is the reason that the party considers this district as its most reliable stronghold and big political decisions are also taken from here.

Purvanchal has a strong bet of 164 seats

There are a total of 28 districts in Purvanchal, where the assembly has about 164 seats. SP got only 14 seats in the 2017 elections, while in 2022 the figure increased to 53. Despite this, the party remained out of power. Now the SP is trying to strengthen the organizational structure in Purvanchal and activists should be activated in every assembly. Akhilesh Yadav has a plan to campaign in the entire Purvanchal from this new residence and office in Azamgarh, so that the SP can be given a decisive lead in the 2027 assembly elections.
