Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are currently enjoying a peaceful existence away from the public eye. Following the arrival of their second child, the couple has chosen to relocate to London in 2024. Recently, they were seen together outside a bakery in London, taking a break from parenting their children, Vamika and Akay.

After welcoming their new baby, the couple decided to embrace a more ordinary lifestyle, distancing themselves from the pressures of fame.

Dr. Shriram Nene, who is married to Madhuri Dixit, previously mentioned in a podcast that Anushka expressed the challenges of relishing success in India due to relentless public scrutiny.

Dr. Nene recounted, “I’ll tell you something, and this is what you learn, they all put their pants on one leg at a time. We had a conversation with Anushka one day, and it was very interesting. They were contemplating moving to London because they can’t enjoy their success (here). We understand what they endure, as everything they do draws attention. It can feel isolating.”

Anushka and Virat first crossed paths in 2013 during an advertisement shoot. They kept their relationship under wraps for several years before tying the knot in a private ceremony in Italy in 2017. Their daughter Vamika was born in 2021, and they welcomed their son Akay in February 2024.

On the professional front, Anushka has been absent from the big screen since her role in 'Zero' in 2018. She is set to make her comeback in the biopic 'Chakda Express', which tells the story of cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli's team, RCB, celebrated its first IPL title victory in June.
