Russia-Akraine War: Russian Navy deputy head Ukrainian attack in Kursk, received awards for bravery

Russia-ukraine war: Major General Mikhail Gudkov, Deputy Chief of the Russian Navy, who also led a brigade fighting against Ukraine, has been killed in Russia’s Kursk region. He is one of the most senior Russian military officers killed by Ukraine since Moscow launched a full -scale war against Ukraine in 2022. This was said by Oleg Kozhyaco Governor of Far Eastern Region of Russia on Thursday.

The informal Russian and Ukrainian military telegram channels had earlier reported that Gudkov was killed along with 10 other soldiers in a Ukrainian attack on a command post in Korenevo in the Kurcas region bordering Ukraine.

Gudkov was accused in military action against Ukraine and Kiev accused him of war crimes.
