Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s claim of being outstanding three traffic challans on an alleged government vehicle is becoming increasingly viral on social media. The viral post also includes a screenshot, in which three pending invoices are reported on the DL2CAX2964 car. This post has launched a debate on social media, where some people are advocating equality of law, while many users are questioning its truth.

What is the matter?

In fact, social media user Aryan Singh claimed in a post on X that the Delhi number DL2CAX2964, which is shown sitting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is outstanding three traffic challans on this car. A screenshot is also shared in the post, which reportedly shows information about the challan. Although it is not clear whether this vehicle is actually a private ride of the Prime Minister or part of the government fleet, since the post has tagged the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Home Affairs and Delhi Traffic Police, this Possote became increasingly viral on the media.

Users’ reactions

On seeing this post, it went viral on social media and various reactions started coming from the users. Many people appreciated the transparency of the administration and said that “the law should be equal for everyone, whether it is a common citizen or the Prime Minister of the country.” Some expressed concern that if government or VIP vehicles also do not fill the penalty by violating traffic rules, then what message will they give to the general public.
