Popstar Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom have parted ways, multiple media outlets reported Thursday. Sources including People and USA Today referenced a statement indicating that the pair “have been transitioning their relationship over the past several months to focus on co-parenting” and will continue to be seen publicly with their daughter. The statement, attributed to representatives for both stars, emphasized their priority of raising their daughter with ”love, stability, and mutual respect.”
The statement was released a week after rumors of the couple’s breakup circulated ahead of the wedding of billionaire Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos, which Bloom attended solo. Perry has been on a world tour.

Perry, 40, and Bloom, 48, have been romantically involved since 2016. The couple separated in 2017 but rekindled their relationship shortly after, getting engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2019, as Perry disclosed during an interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” In 2020, they welcomed a daughter named Daisy Dove Bloom. Perry and Bloom had UNICEF announce the news on its Instagram account. Both are goodwill ambassadors for the United Nations agency that supports children.
Bloom and his ex-wife, Australian model Miranda Kerr, share a son, Flynn, who was born in 2011. Daisy is Perry’s only child. Perry, born Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, was previously married to comedian Russell Brand.
