Great news for devotees of Lord Shri Ram! The Indian Railways has reintroduced the 'Shri Ramayana Yatra' via the Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist train, aimed at enhancing pilgrimage tourism. This heartfelt journey will commence from Delhi’s Safdarjung Railway Station on July 25, 2025. The Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train will transport you to sacred sites linked to Lord Rama’s life, ensuring a comfortable and memorable pilgrimage experience. Itinerary Highlights

IRCTC is offering a part payment option, allowing travelers to pay 25% of the total package cost upfront. The journey kicks off in Ayodhya, where visitors will explore the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple, Hanuman Garhi, and Ram Ki Paidi (Sarayu Ghat). Next, the Bharat Mandir at Nandigram will be visited, followed by Sitamarhi in Bihar, where the birthplace of Sita Ji and the Ram Janki Temple in Janakpur (Nepal) will be accessed by road.


After Sitamarhi, the train will head to Buxar, featuring attractions like Ramrekha Ghat and the Rameshwarnath temple. The next stop is Varanasi, where tourists will visit the Kashi Vishwanath temple and its corridor, along with Tulsi Mandir and Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir, culminating in the Ganga aarti. In the following days, travelers will journey to Prayag, Shringverpur, and Chitrakoot by road, with overnight accommodations provided.


The train will then stop in Nashik, covering the Trimbakeshwar Temple and the Panchvati area. Hampi, known as the ancient city of Kishkindha, will be the next destination, where Anjaneya Hill—considered the birthplace of Lord Hanuman—along with other heritage sites like the Vitthala and Virupaksha temples will be explored.


In the final leg of the journey, Rameshwaram will be visited, where travelers will explore the Ramanathaswamy Temple and Dhanushkodi. The train will return to Delhi on the 17th day, covering approximately 7,600 km throughout the tour.
