Bank of Baroda has released recruitment for 2500 posts, and the application process started today.

There is great news for the youth dreaming of a job in the banking sector. Bank of Baroda (BOB) has released the official notification for the recruitment of 2500 posts of Local Bank Officer (LBO).

The application process for this recruitment has started, and interested candidates can apply till 24 July 2025. Applications for this post will be made only through the online mode. Candidates can fill the application form by visiting the official website of Bank of Baroda, bankofbaroda.in.

To apply in this recruitment, the candidate must have a graduation degree from a recognized university of India. Apart from this, the candidate should have at least one year of work experience associated with a commercial bank or regional rural bank.

Talking about the age limit, the minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and maximum 30 years. However, reserved category candidates will be given relaxation as per rules. SC and ST category will get 5 years relaxation and OBC category will get 3 years relaxation.

The application fee for recruitment has also been fixed. The application fee for General Category, OBC and EWS category candidates has been kept at Rs 850, while Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Women candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 175.

Talking about the selection process, the candidates will be tested in three stages. In the first phase, there will be a written test in which 120 questions will be asked from subjects like English, Banking Awareness, General Knowledge, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.

After this, a psychometric test will be taken in which the mental ability and professional thinking of the candidate will be tested. Finally, the final selection will be done through interview or group discussion.
