Siraj said, “I did not want to take the sixth wicket. I told Akash Deep also that I can put five balls out so that you get a chance to take five wickets, but he refused. Akash Deep said you bowl well and take a wicket.” On the third ball of the same over, Mohammad Siraj dismissed Shoaib Bashir and threw England’s first innings for 407 runs. Akash Deep appreciated Siraj and said that Siraj had a huge hand in the first two wickets that I took pressure from the other end. Due to which I was able to take wickets. It was not as important for me to take 5 wickets as England had to cover. I am happy with my exhibition. Akash Deep took 4 wickets for 88 runs in 20 overs in England’s first innings.
