The much-awaited sequel to the Punjabi hit Singh Vs Kaur finally has a release date. On Saturday, the makers announced that Singh Vs Kaur 2, starring Shehnaaz Gill and Gippy Grewal, will hit theatres worldwide on October 2, 2025. The announcement came through a video shared on social media featuring the film’s title with the catchy track “Maasi” playing in the background.

Fans Celebrate the Announcement

The release date reveal sent fans into a frenzy. Supporters of Shehnaaz Gill took to social media to express their excitement. “Sending love and best wishes to the entire team of this amazing movie featuring Our Heart Queen Shehnaaz Gill and Favourite Gippy Grewal Ji! Super excited,” a fan commented. Another wrote, “Blockbuster movie loading .” The film marks Shehnaaz and Gippy’s second collaboration after the 2019 action-comedy Daaka.

Sequel to the 2013 Hit

The original Singh Vs Kaur, released in 2013, starred Gippy Grewal alongside Surveen Chawla and was both a commercial and critical success. It was even remade in Bengali due to its popularity. Expectations are high for the sequel, which brings a fresh pairing and promises laughter, drama, and signature Punjabi flair.

In the video, Shehnaaz, Gippy, and other cast members like Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Raghveer Boli, and Harby Sangha are seen inside a train reacting to a bee on set. The actress captioned it humorously: “Bees on set, fear on the face, but fun in the heart.”
