New Delhi: Team Indias experienced batter KL Rahul scored a half-century in the second innings of the second Test match against England. With this Rahul achieved a special feat. Rahul has become the second Indian opener to score 50+ Test scores the most number of times in England. Rahul left Vijay Merchant behind in this matter. KL Rahul has become the second Indian opener to score 50+ most number of times in Tests in SENA countries (South Africa England New Zealand and Australia). Rahul has done this 10 times in 44 innings. In this case Rahul has left behind former Indian opener Virender Sehwag who has scored 50+ nine times in 49 innings in SENA countries. India scored 177 runs for three wickets in the second innings till lunch on the fourth day of the second Test match against England. India thus gained a total lead of 357 runs.
