Desk: Tata Motors has started production of its most powerful and largest electric SUV Harrier EV soon after starting booking. Tata is building this electric car at Pune Plant in Maharashtra. This is the new flagship electric SUV of the company, which is priced from ₹ 21.49 lakh to ₹ 30.23 lakh ex-showroom.
Tata says that it has received a great response from the market and its booking is also going well. This train will soon start reaching dealerships and its delivery is going to start this month. This electric car is available in special 4 color options such as Nainital Nocturn, Empowered Oxide, Prisin White and Pure Gray options. Apart from this, all-black stealth edition is also available in it from the time of launch.
The new Harrier is built on EV Tata’s ACTI.EV+ Architecture, which is an updated version of the previous petrol-diesel Harrier platform. This electric SUV is available in two options. The first version is the rear-wheel drive (RWD) and the second version is Quad-wheel drive (QWD). The RWD version consists of a motor at the back, while in the QWD version, one motor is given on both the front and back. Which makes a four wheel drive.
The Harrier EV RWD version motor gives 235 bhp power and 315 Nm of torque. At the same time, 391 bhp power and 504 Nm of torque is available in QWD dual-motor version. Two battery options are available in this SUV, which has an option of a 65 kwh battery pack, which gives a range of 538 km. The second big is a variant with a 75 kwh battery pack, with a range of 627 km in RWD version and 622 km in QWD version.
Talking about the features of Harrier EV, it has many premium facilities. It offers features like full digital console, hormon’s Samsung Neo QLED display, Dolby Atmos Sound System, 540-Digry Slightening View camera and digital IRVM that reduces blind spots during parking. Apart from this, it also has a transparent vehicle feature, which also shows the surface under the car on the bumpy paths.
