'Border 2': Diljit, Ahan, Varun, Sunny shoot song at NDA

Despite recent controversies due to his film Sardaar Ji 3, Punjabi actor Diljit Dosanjh is continuing with his work on Border 2.

The war drama, based on a chapter from the 1971 Indo-Pak war, recently saw Dosanjh shooting a song sequence with co-stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty at the National Defence Academy (NDA) in Pune.

The song was composed by Anu Malik and choreographed by Ganesh Acharya.

A source close to the project revealed to Mid-Day, "The shoot for the song began on Tuesday [July 1] and was wrapped up on Thursday [July 3]. This is the first time the four lead actors are shooting together in their respective uniforms."

Production details

The source further added, "Considering the NDA is a joint training space for the Army, Navy and Air Force cadets, the scene fit perfectly. The song will show Ahan, Varun and Diljit as young cadets before they trained to become officers."

The movie is directed by Anurag Singh and will be released on January 23, 2026.
