As per the reports Aditya Roy Kapur who plays the role of Parth is the highest-paid actor. He has charged around Rs 5 to 6 crores for his role. Sara Ali Khan who has played his love interest has received Rs. 3 crores which is half of Adityas fee. Veteran actor Anupam Kher who is an institute in acting himself has been paid somewhere Rs. 3 to 5 crore; however the exact figure remains unconfirmed. Neena Gupta appears alongside Anupam but her charges have been revealed. Pankaj Tripathi who is praised the most for his strong performance has reportedly been paid Rs 4 crores. His comic timing emotional depth and natural innocence have won the hearts of the audience in this film. Meanwhile Konkona Sen and Fatima Sana Shaikh have also done exceedingly well in the film and are paid between Rs 75 lakhs to 1 crore each. Ali Fazal who plays Fatimas husband is also in the film but his charges havent been disclosed. Box Office Collection The film has been receiving a lot of love and appreciation. This film had a slow start but managed to pick up in a few days. Its collection has surpassed the original Life in a Metro Rs. 15 crores within just three days. Till now it has earned Rs. 17 crore in India.
