Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu has landed himself in a legal trouble due to his association with an endorsement he did in the past. He reportedly received legal notices from Telanganas Ranga Reddy District Consumer Commission for promoting the real estate firm and influencing buyers with the misleading advertisement. Who filed complaint against Mahesh Babu? According to a report published by Deccan Chronicle a Hyderabad-doctor filed a complaint against Mahesh Babu and the firm Sai Surya Developers. The complained alleged that she was cheated after paying Rs 34.8 lakh for purchasing plots that didnt even exist. Mahesh has been named as the third respondent in the case accused of misleading the buyers by promoting the defrauded firm. Mahesh Babu was also questioned by ED in April? In April this year the Enforcement Directorate (ED) grilled the actor in a money laundering case involving Surya Developers and Surana Group. As per a PTI report the companys owner Kancharla Satish Chandra Gupta was accused for defaulting a major real estate project named Green Meadows. Mahesh Babu who served as the brand ambassador of the project was reportedly paid Rs 5.9 crore for it. Source revealed that the actor was not investigated and not treated as an accused involved in the scam.
