The much-awaited film Ghaati, starring Anushka Shetty and Vikram Prabhu, has faced another delay. Originally scheduled to release on July 11, 2025, the film’s release has been pushed back due to pending production work.

Filmmakers Prioritize Quality Over Deadlines

In an official statement, the makers explained that more time is needed to complete key portions of the film and ensure a polished, high-quality final product. Production house UV Creations released a poetic note on their official X (formerly Twitter) handle, stating:

“Cinema is a living river… sometimes it rushes forward, sometimes it pauses to gather depth. Ghaati is not just a film; it’s a mountain echo, a wild breeze… We believe this wait will make the experience richer, more intense, more unforgettable.”

Fans were thanked for their support, with a promise of a new release date announcement soon.

Second Delay for the Pan-Indian Film

This is the second delay for Ghaati, which was initially slated for an April 18, 2025 release before being rescheduled to July. The postponement comes as the team continues work on crucial post-production elements.

A Stellar Cast and Creative Team

Ghaati is presented by UV Creations and produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi. It marks the second collaboration between Anushka Shetty and director Krish Jagarlamudi, following their successful partnership in Vedam.

The film features cinematography by Manojh Reddy Katasani, music by Nagavelli Vidya Sagar, and art direction by Thota Tharrani. Editing is handled by Chanakya Reddy Toorupu and Venkat N Swamy.

Multi-Lingual Release Planned

Ghaati will release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, promising a wide reach. Meanwhile, Anushka Shetty was last seen in the 2023 rom-com Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty.
