Pakistani actress Zara Noor Abbas has appealed to the public to stop relying on artificial methods to enhance beauty and maintain a youthful appearance.
The actress took a stand against the use of medications and treatments that alter natural beauty, urging people to embrace their true selves instead of using unnatural products to appear young or flawless.
In a message shared through her Instagram story, Zara requested, “Please stop promoting anti-aging products.” She emphasized that aging is a natural and inevitable process, calling it the “only beautiful and truthful reality” that should be accepted with grace.
She further urged people to allow life to take its natural course and not try to control processes like aging. “Stop endorsing slimming drops, pills, or medications that claim to lighten skin or reduce weight. Let aging be a part of life that isn’t in your control,” she said.
The actress warned that reliance on such products is a dangerous addiction, equating it to drug dependency. She added, “External beauty fades. Instead of chasing it, focus on strengthening your mind, which will serve you much longer.”
Her statement comes at a time when Indian actress Shefali Jariwala tragically passed away at the age of 42 due to cardiac arrest. Although the official post-mortem report has not yet been released, speculation suggests she had been using anti-aging supplements for years. Reports allege that on the day of her death, she took an injection while fasting, which caused her blood pressure to drop drastically, eventually leading to her death.
Earlier, Zara’s mother, veteran actress Asma Abbas, also spoke out against anti-aging treatments. Commenting on Shefali’s death, she said, “I heard Shefali had undergone various anti-aging treatments and injections, which may have contributed to her passing. Similar concerns were raised after Sridevi’s death too.”
Asma added, “What’s so wrong with aging? Why are people so afraid of growing old? It’s a natural part of life. Please learn to embrace it.”
