In the latest episode, emotions simmered just beneath the surface as Abhira, gathering all her courage, told everyone she needed a little time—to think, to breathe, to be sure. But before her words could settle, Kaveri cut her off coldly. With that familiar steel in her voice, she demanded to know if Abhira was second-guessing her decision. There was no room left for hesitation.

Sensing the rising tension, Anshuman quietly stepped forward and asked Kaveri if he could speak to Abhira in private. Once they were alone, he softened his tone and asked her gently—was this really what she wanted, or was someone forcing her hand? He reassured her that it was okay to back out, that she didn’t owe anyone a performance. But Abhira, calm and unwavering, assured him that her decision hadn’t changed.

Back outside, Kaveri wasted no time. She took charge of the situation and made a grand announcement—Abhira would marry Anshuman, and alongside their wedding, Tanya and Krish’s marriage would also take place. Her voice left no room for argument. In the crowd, Armaan stood motionless. The engagement ring—once a symbol of his own hopes—slipped from his fingers and landed near Abhira’s feet, as if fate itself had dropped it there as a reminder of everything he was losing.

As Abhira and Anshuman posed for the engagement pictures, their smiles stiff and rehearsed, Armaan crouched beneath a table, trying to hide—not from the people, but from his memories. He had been the one to tell her to move on, and now that she was trying, he found no comfort in it. When he finally looked up, his eyes fell on the chain she still wore. Something about it hit him harder than anything else.

Anshuman returned the ring to him with kindness in his eyes and urged him to let go, to stop living in the past. But Armaan couldn’t bring himself to nod. Instead, he asked Anshuman to look after Abhira—truly look after her. Anshuman, calm as ever, told him it was time he stopped worrying about her.

Later, Kaveri placed a call to Manish, inviting him to Abhira’s wedding. But Manish, calling from Japan, said he wouldn’t be able to make the trip. The conversation left Abhira uneasy. Doubts started creeping in—was all of this really meant to be? She noticed Vidya avoiding her, and even Kaveri. Eventually, tired of being tiptoed around, she confronted Vidya directly.

The confrontation turned heavy quickly. Vidya didn’t hide her disapproval of the match and refused to give Anshuman her blessing. She asked Abhira if this marriage was truly her choice, or if it was just an attempt to please Kaveri. Abhira tried to explain—she was trying to move forward, trying to live the life everyone told her to choose. But Vidya, emotional and firm, reminded her that the bond between her and Armaan wasn’t something that could be erased with one decision.

Anshuman, watching all of this unfold, turned to Kaveri and gently said he understood where Vidya’s resistance came from. His empathy touched Kaveri, and for a brief moment, her usual rigidity softened. Anshuman even suggested that both Kaveri and Vidya come stay with him after the wedding, but Kaveri declined. She insisted she would return to the Poddar home.

Somewhere else, Armaan met Krish and, swallowing his pride, asked him for a job. Manoj backed him, helping Armaan weave a plan to stay close to the family. Krish agreed, offering him a managerial position. Still, Manoj warned him—it wouldn’t be easy, not with everything that had happened. But Armaan didn’t flinch. He was determined.

Later that evening, Armaan spoke to Maira on the phone. His voice was soft, affectionate, almost fragile. He told her to take care of herself and promised they’d be together soon.

Meanwhile, Abhira sat with her thoughts, feeling overwhelmed. Everyone expected her to be happy, to smile, to go along with what had been decided. But inside, her heart still carried Armaan. Every little moment, every quiet second brought back memories. And even though she tried to stand tall, the weight of it all was hard to bear.

Still, she made her choice. Despite the ache in her chest and the silence between her and Armaan, Abhira resolved to move forward with Anshuman. Not because she had forgotten—but because, for now, it was the only way she knew how to keep going.
