New delhi: Instant Messaging App Whatsapp will stop working on some iOS and Android Devices from 1 June. Earlier the company said that this change would come into effect in May 2025. Read Correspondent.
This move is part of the regular cycle update by meta. From Tomorrow, that is 1 June, Whatsapp will not support iphones with iOS 15 or Older Versions. This Messaging App is also removing support for Android 5.0 Or Older Versions.
Here is the list of phones which will be affected-

iPhone 6 Plus
iPhone 6s
iPhone 6s Plus
iPhone SE (1st Gen)
Samsung Galaxy S4
Samsung Galaxy Note 3

All the phones in the list are old. But before discussing the phone because of this, check if your phone is up-to-date. If the phone is still receiving software updates, which will make the iPhone run on iOS 15.1 or later and Android Run on Android 5.1 Or Later, then whatsapp will also run smoothly on your phone.
If you have any smartphone in the list and you are using whatsapp on it, then you need to be alert. You should switch your phone immediatily. If you are going to remove whatsapp from the old smartphone, then first create a backup of the chat and media files. If you create a backup, then you will be able to easily recover your chats in the new phones.
-Open Whatsapp
-Go to Settings
-Tap “chats”
-Select “Chat Backup”
Backup to Google Drive (Android) Or iCloud (iPhone)
