Semolina (rava) – 1 cup
Rice flour – 1/4 cup
Flour – 2 tablespoons
Curd – 1/2 cup
Water – 2 cups (as per requirement)
Green Chilli – 2 (Finely chopped)
Ginger – 1 inch piece (grated)
Cumin – 1 tsp
Green Coriander – 2 tablespoons (chopped)
Salt – as per taste
Oil – to bake dosa for tempering
1. First add semolina, rice flour and maida to a large bowl. Now add curd to it and make a solution by mixing water slowly. Keep in mind that the solution is not too thin nor too thick.
2. Now add finely chopped green chillies, grated ginger, cumin, coriander and salt and mix well. Keep this solution covered for at least 20-30 minutes so that the semolina swells.
3. Heat the griddle and add some oil. With the help of a delay spoon, take a solution and spread it round. Rava dosa is thin and crispy, so do not spread it too thick.
4. Bake dosa on medium heat till it becomes golden and crisp. When the edge starts rising, sprinkle oil. When the dosa is ready, he does not need to turn. Remove it only. Make all the doses in this way.
Tor-dal-1/2 cup
Water – 2 cups
Tomato – 1 (finely chopped)
Carrots – 1 small (chopped)
Potatoes – 1 (chopped)
Okra-4-5 (chopped)
Fennel – 1/2 tsp
Mustard grains – 1/2 tsp
Curry Leaf-8-10 leaves
Green chili – 1 (chopped)
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Sambhar powder – 1 tablespoon
Oil – 2 table spoon
Salt – as per taste
Tamarind Paste – 1 TableSpoon
Green coriander – to decorate
1. First wash the torch and put it in the pressure cooker. Add water, turmeric powder and some salt to the lentils and cook till 3-4 whistles. Now heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, fennel, curry leaves and green chillies to it.
2. When mustard starts crackling, add chopped vegetables. Fry on medium flame for 5-7 minutes. Now add tomatoes, red chili powder and sambar powder and cook for 2 minutes. Add cooked lentils and mix well.
3. Now add tamarind paste and add water and make the thickness of sambar as per your choice. Cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes so that the vegetables are melted well and all the spices are mixed.
4. Finally, taste salt and increase it as per need. Garnish by adding green coriander over it.
