Tom Holland and Carlos Alcaraz’s recent interaction at Wimbledon 2025 has garnered significant attention. During a break in Alcaraz’s practice session, the Spider-Man star stopped by to greet him. However, their conversation ended with Holland proposing a golf match and Alcaraz happily accepting the idea.
Wimbledon 2025 took an unexpected turn when Carlos Alcaraz and actor Tom Holland had a friendly exchange that sparked excitement over a potential golf match. Ahead of his quarter-final showdown against Cameron Norrie, Alcaraz crossed paths with Holland during a light moment on the practice court.
In a video shared by Wimbledon on X (formerly Twitter)Alcaraz greeted the Spider-Man star and jokingly commented on Holland’s golfing skills. “Tom! I saw you playing golf as well. Good swing, good swing, eh?” the tennis player said, smiling. Holland replied enthusiastically, “We should play!” Alcaraz happily agreed to the idea, with Holland saying, “I’ll give you my number and we’ll get a game together.”
Following his victory over Norrie in straight sets, Alcaraz revisited the topic during his post-match interview. The tennis star said, “Once we set up a match on golf, I just go for it. I saw him playing sometimes. There are some videos of him playing golf. I would say he could beat me.”
Alcaraz’s next match is scheduled for Friday against American player Taylor Fritz. He also added, “But yeah, I would love to play against him in the golf course. For me, it would be such an honour. I will try to set it up in these two days that I will have much time to do it.”
This isn’t Holland’s first time crossing paths with Alcaraz. The actor, who’s an avid tennis fan, previously attended the 2023 BNP Paribas Open final at Indian Wells alongside Zendaya, where Alcaraz won.
