Have you ever wondered what will happen to your Google account after you die? Can anyone access it? There is much such information that people do not want to be revealed even after their death. Many people who want such information should not go into the wrong hands. In such a situation, if there is some information in the e-mail, then its privacy matters.

Google deletes inactive accounts.

Although Google automatically deletes Google accounts that remain inactive for a long time, its process is quite long. According to Google's new policy, Google automatically deletes Google accounts that remain inactive for a maximum of 2 years. In this, all the information like the account holder's name, address, saved card, e-mail, photos, documents, and Google Drive is deleted.

The user gets an alert many times.
Google sends notifications to the user many times before doing this, so that the user becomes active and their account is not deleted. But if there is still no activity from the user's side, then Google finally deletes their account, and it cannot be retrieved again.

Set a timeline to deactivate the account.

Google provides the facility to deactivate the account in your absence, so that no one can misuse it. If you want someone else to access your account after you are gone, then you can give access to some selected people to do so. You can set a deadline of 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, or 18 months to deactivate the Google account. After reaching the time limit, Google will try to contact you at your registered email or phone number. If no response is received from you, then Google will consider it inactive.

You can give account access to others.

You can choose 10 people to whom notifications will be sent if the account is inactive. At the same time, you can go to the Add Person option and decide who should be given access to see what in the account. For this, you will have to provide the person's email ID and some other information.

Decide what to do with the account.

You can also decide whether to delete the account after it becomes inactive. A notification will be sent after the period selected in the first step is over. After which, three months will be given so that the person to whom you have given access can download the data. After this, your account will be deleted.
