The Coast Guard has started the recruitment process for Assistant Commandant Batch 2027. Eligible candidates can apply online from 8 July 2025 to 23 July 2025.

Who can apply?
If you want to apply for General Duty (GD), then you must have a graduation degree in any subject. At the same time, candidates applying for the technical branch should have a degree in mechanical, electrical or electronics engineering. The educational qualification for recruitment in both the branches should be from recognized institutions of India.
What is the age limit?
To join this recruitment, your age should be between 21 to 25 years on 1 July 2026. That is, you should have been born between 1 July 2001 to 30 June 2005. If you have previously served in the Army, Navy, Air Force or Coast Guard, then you will be given a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.
What is the application fee?
Candidates of General, OBC and all other categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 300. Whereas for SC and ST category this process is absolutely free. The fee will be paid in online mode only.
