Delhi Police issues traffic advisory for Guru Purnima celebration; routes to avoid today

Key traffic arrangements Road closures and diversions
Specific sections surrounding Bhati Mines will be temporarily closed to regular traffic. It’s best to avoid routes like SSN Marg, MG Road, Mandi Road, Anuvrat Road.
Diversion routes will be clearly signposted and managed by traffic personnel to guide commuters around restricted zones.
Commuters travelling from Saket, Mehrauli, or AIIMS and heading toward Gurugram via MG Road are advised to take the alternative route via Aurobindo Marg, Outer Ring Road, NH-48 to avoid traffic delays.
Officers will be strategically concentrated at key intersections and chokepoints to facilitate orderly movement and help drivers follow alternate routes.
