Ireland all-rounder Curtis Campher achieved something that no professional cricketer has ever done before. He picked five wickets in five consecutive balls across two different. The incredible moment was achieved while playing for Munster Reds in a domestic T20 match in the Inter-Provincial T20 Trophy against North-West Warriors.

While Playing for Munster Reds, Campher took wickets in two overs. He first removed two batters on the last two deliveries of the 12th over. Then, when he came back to bowl in the 14th over, he claimed a hat-trick, three wickets in the first three deliveries. He assisted in bowling out the Warriors for only 88 runs while needing 189. The Reds won the game comfortably.
Campher started by dismissing Jared Wilson for a duck, then Graham Hume (0) on the final delivery of that over. And then, in his subsequent over, he dismissed well-set Andy McBrine (28), Robbie Millar (0), and Josh Wilson (0). He achieved the unprecedented record of taking five wickets in five balls, which had never been attempted before in professional cricket.

A Comeback to Remember for Campher After Injury
Campher closed with impressive returns of 5 for 16 in 2.3 overs. It was a crucial game for him as he was returning after missing matches owing to a finger injury. He had missed T20I and ODI series against West Indies, but now he's back and in his best form with both bat and ball.
Interestingly, Campher had previously gained headlines in 2021 when he picked up four wickets in four balls during theT20 World Cup match against the Netherlands. He is still one of Ireland's leading all-rounders and is bound to be included in the squad for the forthcoming ODI series against England in September.
