A tourist sustained injuries after his car fell into a 300-foot-deep valley at Table Point in Gujarwadi, Satara, while attempting a stunt for a social media reel. The incident was witnessed by several bystanders at the hilltop location.
The accident occurred around 4 pm on Wednesday in the Sadawaghapur area. The driver, identified as Sahil Jadhav (20) from Goleshwar in Karad, sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment.
According to officials, the tourist was driving the vehicle near the edge of the popular viewpoint when he lost control during the stunt. Rescue teams, assisted by locals, managed to bring the injured driver to safety and rushed him to a nearby hospital.
Police have urged visitors to avoid dangerous activities at tourist spots and have launched an investigation into the matter.
