Bigg Boss 17 fame Mannara Chopra returns to work post father's demise; says, 'Resuming work with gratitude in my heart'

Mannara Chopra ’s father, Raman Rai Handa , passed away in June this year. The actress, along with her family members and close ones, shared their grief and sorrow over his sudden demise. Mannara has now announced her return to work following the loss, expressing her gratitude for the support she received during the difficult time.






Taking to her Instagram handle, Mannara shared a post announcing that she has resumed work. Showing appreciation for her fans’ unwavering support, she wrote,

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support you’ve shown to me and my family during these tough times. Resuming work now, with gratitude in my heart.”


Soon after she shared the post, fans and close friends from the industry flooded the comments section with words of encouragement. One user wrote, “Proud of you, happy to see you back stronger.” Another commented, “Please take care of yourself and stay strong.”


Mannara’s father passed away on June 16, 2025, at the age of 72. Sharing the heartbreaking news, Mannara wrote, “With profound grief and sorrow, we inform the sad demise of our loving father who left us for his heavenly abode on 16/06/2025. He was the pillar of strength for our family.”


The last rites were held on June 18, attended by close family members and friends who came together to pay their respects. Bigg Boss 17 co-contestants including Khanzaadi, Abhishek Kumar, and others were also present.


On the work front, Mannara rose to fame with her stint on Bigg Boss 17. She was last seen on the reality show Laughter Chefs.
