Tesla’s Experience Center: Elon Musk -owned electric car company Tesla will formally enter the Indian market with the opening of its first showroom in Mumbai next week. Although the company is not currently manufacturing in the country, it is going to open its first showroom in Mumbai on 15 July. The company has imported electric vehicles and products worth about 1 million dollars before launch.
The Tesla showroom, called the ‘Experience Center’, is built in a 4,000 -square -foot retail space in the Bandra Kurla Complex, the major commercial area of the financial capital Mumbai, close to the American tech veteran Apple’s flagship store in the city.
Data of commercial shipping records between January and June suggests that Tesla imported vehicles, supervisors and accessories to India, mainly from China and the United States. According to the report, imported cars include six units of model Y, five of which were sent at the rate of $ 32,500 per unit, while the long -range version was priced at $ 46,000.
